Buyer FAQ

Questions volume buyers ask — answered with numbers

No sales evasions: MOQ, pricing mechanics, timelines and inspection standards, each answered in a form you can quote to your own team.

Q.Where is your factory located?

We are a China-based manufacturer, stated plainly: two decades of bag production, exporting on FOB terms from Chinese ports to US and EU market standards. Third-party factory audits (SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV) are welcomed on-site, and our honest China-vs-USA sourcing comparison is published on this site.

Q.What is your minimum order quantity for custom bags?

Our MOQ is 2,000 pieces per style. We focus on brand-volume OEM/ODM programs; below that threshold, small-run workshops serve buyers better, and we are happy to say so openly.

Q.Why is your MOQ 2,000 pieces when others accept 100–500?

At 2,000+ pieces per style, engineering decisions change: patterns are built for repeatability across thousands of units, materials are qualified by dye lot, and inspection runs on full AQL statistics. Lower MOQs usually mean trading-company intermediaries — our audit found under 10% of factory websites even state a real MOQ.

Q.How fast do you send a quotation?

Every tech pack receives a line-item FOB quotation within 12–24 business hours, including tiered unit pricing, material map, lead-time band and carton-load plan. Mutual NDA applies by default.

Q.What does FOB include in your quotations?

FOB (Free On Board) covers factory cost, domestic trucking and export customs clearance, with goods delivered on board at the named Chinese port. You control ocean freight and insurance from that point — the cleanest split for importers with a forwarder. EXW and DDP are available on request.

Q.What payment terms do you accept?

Standard is T/T: 30% deposit with order confirmation, balance against B/L copy before release. Irrevocable L/C at sight serves larger programs, and escrow-style protection covers first trial orders.

Q.How long does production take?

Simple constructions run from about 20 days after tech-pack approval. Reference bands: 50,000 pcs ≈ 40 days, 100,000 pcs ≈ 50 days, 200,000 pcs ≈ 70 days, shifting with complexity — your quotation states the exact band in writing.

Q.Is the sample fee refundable?

Yes — pre-production sample fees are credited back in full once the order reaches the 2,000-piece MOQ. Virtual samples (logo composited onto real constructions) are produced before any physical cutting.

Q.Can we inspect the factory before placing an order?

Yes, and we encourage it. Third-party audits by SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or your own QA team are welcome at any stage; our documentation pack (company/legal info, workflow, sample reports) is emailed on request.

Q.What inspection standard applies to finished bags?

Final random inspection runs on AQL sampling per ISO 2859-1, General Inspection Level II — typically Critical 0 / Major 2.5 / Minor 4.0. For example, a 10,000-piece lot draws 200 samples with accept/reject at 10/11 majors. Your AQL settings override ours when agreed at PO stage.

Q.Which logo decoration methods do you offer?

Embroidery, screen print, heat transfer, sublimation panels, debossed leather patches and woven labels — applied on flat panels before assembly so artwork geometry holds. A virtual sample of your logo precedes any physical sampling.

Q.Can you match Pantone colors across re-orders?

Yes. Approved swatches are matched under a D65 light box, one PO runs one dye lot wherever roll quantity allows, and lot numbers trace every bag to its roll — so your re-order in 12–18 months matches the first delivery.

Q.Do you meet US and EU compliance requirements?

Programs for US markets ship with CPSIA-oriented labeling; EU-directed orders run REACH-oriented material documentation. Destination-market compliance is quoted in from the start, not retrofitted.

Q.Have you manufactured for large brands?

Yes — our factory background includes long-running OEM programs for global FMCG brands including Unilever and Avon, plus international supermarket chains whose supplier audits leave no room for "almost right".

Q.Can we mix product lines in one purchase order?

Yes, and most first orders do: a typical PO combines 2–4 SKUs across laptop bags, backpacks, totes or duffels — one quotation, one inspection standard, one FOB consolidation.

Q.What documents do we receive during the order?

Every stage issues its paperwork as standard: line-item quotation, PI with payment schedule, lot assignment record, signed pre-production approval, hourly inline checkpoint sheets, AQL inspection report, packing list and export documents. The full list is published on our buyer documents page.

Q.What happens after FOB handover — do you help with shipping?

FOB is a milestone, not a wall: our packing list, carton plan and B/L draft are issued before vessel booking so your forwarder books the right slot first time, and document consistency (PI = invoice = B/L) prevents destination customs holds. Air freight and courier options are quoted for urgent programs.

Q.How do we start if this is our first China order?

Start small on paper, not on risk: request our documentation pack, schedule a third-party audit before any deposit, use escrow-style protection for the trial payment, and let the 21-document paper trail carry the order. Our 45-day order journey shows every stage before you commit.

Q.Do you support school and nonprofit bulk programs?

Yes — school districts, charities and donation drives are a backbone line. Institutional orders get tender-formatted quotations, batch test reports and distribution-ready cartons; a 40ft container holds roughly 8,000–11,000 school backpacks depending on construction.
